Now, we are finally down to just eight teams left in this year’s UEFA Champions League tournament. Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen teams like Chelsea and Juventus eliminated, with Barcelona running as the favourites to be crowned as champions come the final in May.

The 2016 Round of 16 stage was a delight to watch, as we had it all. 90 minutes, extra time in the Allianz Arena as Bayern eventually ran out winners against Italian outfit Juventus, and we was even treated to penalties in Spain when Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid knocked out Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.

Thanks to the elimination of Juventus and the fact that Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City progressed, the Premier League has been given four spots in next years tournament, something which didn’t look likely at all.

Now, The Continental Zone has come up with their XI from the Round of 16, with the usual names making the cut. Take a look below.
